Tile roofs need a soft wash and careful foot placement
Fox Roof Cleaning cleans concrete and clay tile, the 2 tile types common in Hillsborough, Foster City and Atherton.
Crews walk only where tile is supported and use roof ladders on steep pitches. Pressure forces water under tiles, so it is never used.
Metal roofs need a coating-safe cleaning solution
Fox Roof Cleaning cleans 2 kinds of metal roof, standing-seam and corrugated, and Yelp reviewer Norman Y. noted Joci knew how to step on his.
Many metal roofs carry a factory coating that discolors with the wrong cleaner. Fox uses a coating-safe solution, soft brushes and a low-pressure rinse.
Wood shake needs the gentlest treatment Fox uses
Fox Roof Cleaning uses a milder mix and a longer rinse on wood shake, 1 of the 5 roof types it cleans.
Foot traffic stays to a minimum.
Flat roofs need hand cleaning around drains and seams
Fox Roof Cleaning clears drains and scuppers on 3 flat roof types: TPO, torch-down and built-up.
Pressure stays off seams and flashings.
